Pandemic is a modern classic for a reason. It killed the 'Monopoly model' where one person slowly drains the soul out of everyone else at the table.
Instead, it forces you to communicate and sacrifice your own 'cool' moves for the sake of the group. It’s tense, it’s fast, and it’s one of the best ways to teach logic and teamwork without it feeling like a school lesson. If you don't own it, you should.
Best for ages 8 and up. A smart 7-year-old can definitely hang if they're playing with older siblings or parents, and the strategic depth keeps it engaging for adults until they're 99.
