Here's the thing: the F1 franchise is solid, safe, sports-focused content. No violence, no inappropriate stuff, just racing. But this is a 2009 game, and in gaming years, that's ancient history.
The graphics are dated, the physics feel clunky by modern standards, and online features are likely dead. Unless your kid is a hardcore F1fan doing some kind of franchise retrospective (unlikely), there's zero reason to play this over F1 24 or F1 25.
If you want a racing game for your kid, grab a current title. This one's a museum piece—technically fine, realistically obsolete.
