This is Pixar doing what Pixar does best—taking a simple metaphor (a literal ball of yarn in a corporate office) and spinning it into something that's both entertaining and emotionally intelligent. At 9 minutes, it's the perfect length to hold attention without overstaying its welcome.

The themes are surprisingly sophisticated for such a short runtime: workplace diversity, the pressure to assimilate, and the courage to be yourself when everyone around you is... well, a bunch of loud dudes playing beer pong with crumpled paper.
