Logan is a phenomenal film—if you're old enough to watch it. This is what happens when a superhero movie grows up: brutal, unflinching, emotionally devastating, and genuinely great cinema. Hugh Jackman delivers a career-best performance, and the film earned its 93% on Rotten Tomatoes by treating superhero fatigue with actual artistry.
But let's be crystal clear: this is NOT a kids' movie. The violence is graphic and relentless. The language is R-rated throughout. The tone is dark and nihilistic. Parents who took young kids to this in 2017 thinking 'it's Wolverine!' had a very bad time, and theaters literally posted warnings.
For mature teens (16+) and adults, Logan is essential viewing—a meditation on mortality, legacy, and what it costs to be a protector. For everyone else, wait a few years. This one earns its R rating.
