Kahoot! is one of those rare edtech tools that actually delivers on its promise: making studying feel less like a chore. It's not going to replace reading or hands-on learning, but as a review tool or a way to make memorization stick, it's solid.
The game-show format—music, timers, leaderboards—turns quiz time into something kids genuinely enjoy. Teachers love it, kids tolerate (or even like) it, and parents can use it at home without feeling like they're forcing broccoli down anyone's throat.
That said, it's still just quizzes. The timer pressure doesn't work for every kid, and overuse will make it feel like homework in disguise. Use it as a supplement, not the main event, and you're golden.
