Look, Succession is legitimately brilliant television—the writing, acting, and social commentary are top-tier. But it's also aggressively NOT for kids or families. This is the show you watch after the kids are asleep, probably with a stiff drink, while questioning humanity.
Every character is terrible. The language would make a sailor blush. The family dynamics are a masterclass in what NOT to do. And that's entirely intentional—it's sharp satire about obscene wealth and power.
If you're here looking for something to watch WITH your family, hard pass. If your older teen (17+) has discovered it and you want to use it as a teaching moment about toxic relationships and late-stage capitalism, okay, maybe. But honestly, this is just not Screenwise territory. It's prestige TV for adults who want to watch horrible people be horrible to each other in extremely well-written ways.
The WISE score reflects what it is: adult content that happens to be very good at what it does, but completely inappropriate for the family-focused mission of this platform.
