Pokémon TCG is the gold standard for a reason. It’s one of the few things from the 90s that hasn't lost its edge or its audience. Unlike some 'educational' games that feel like homework, this actually feels like a game—and the math and reading are just the price of admission.
The only real danger here isn't the content; it's your wallet. Collecting is a rabbit hole, and the 'gotta catch 'em all' mentality is a powerful marketing engine. But if you stick to pre-built 'Battle Decks' or a set allowance for packs, it’s a brilliant way to get them off screens and into some deep strategic thinking.
