Look, this is a movie for grown-ups that even grown-ups didn't particularly enjoy. The premise—lonely widow befriends young woman, turns out to be a stalker—has been done better elsewhere.
The critics gave it a shrug (61%), audiences actively disliked it (42%), and that 2.9/5 Letterboxd score is rough. Isabelle Huppert is a treasure, but even she can't save a paint-by-numbers thriller that doesn't commit to being either scary or smart.
If you're a parent wondering if your teen can watch this: it's rated 15+ but honestly, why would they want to? It's not good enough to recommend, and there's plenty of violence and menace throughout. Save everyone the time and watch something better.
