Bob's Burgers is one of those rare animated shows that's genuinely good—funny, heartfelt, and surprisingly wholesome despite the crude humor. The Belcher family is broke, weird, and deeply loving in a way that feels real rather than saccharine.
That said, this is NOT a kids' show just because it's animated. The sexual innuendo, bathroom jokes, and adult situations are constant. If your 8-year-old walks in, they're going to hear things you'll need to explain (or pretend you didn't hear).
For teens and adults? It's legitimately great. The writing is clever, the characters grow over time, and it models healthy family relationships without being preachy. Just don't let the cartoons fool you—this is a show for older audiences that happens to be animated, not a family show that adults can tolerate.
