Screenwise Verdict

Look, it’s Bluey. You already know it’s good. This 2024 box set is a collection of board books that act as a 'greatest hits' for the characters. It’s not going to win a Pulitzer, but it’s a reliable way to keep a toddler occupied in a car seat or doctor’s office without resorting to a YouTube rabbit hole.

The magic of Bluey is that it treats play as the serious work of childhood. These books capture that vibe perfectly. They aren't just 'merch'—they're actually useful tools for teaching kids how to be little humans. It’s an easy win for any parent.

Age Fit

Ideal for the 2 to 5 crowd. Older kids might still find it nostalgic, but the content is definitely geared toward the 'I still occasionally eat crayons' demographic.

What to Watch For

It's very brief; if your kid is over 5, they'll finish this in 30 seconds.
Mostly character introductions rather than the complex 'tear-jerker' stories the show is known for.

"What is something silly Dad does that makes you laugh?"
