Ant-Man is one of the more family-friendly Marvel movies—it's got heart, humor, and a refreshingly small-scale story (literally). Paul Rudd brings genuine warmth to a character trying to be a better dad, and the shrinking gimmick is used creatively enough to keep kids engaged.
The action is standard Marvel fare—nothing shocking if you've seen other MCU films, but enough punching and zapping that younger or sensitive kids might find it intense. The father-daughter relationship is the emotional core and it's genuinely sweet.
It's nearly a decade old but holds up well—the effects are still fun, the humor works, and it's not so tied to MCU lore that you need homework before watching. A solid pick for family movie night when you want something entertaining that won't make you cringe at the values being modeled.
