Let's be real: this is a Paramount+ executive's fever dream, not a movie anyone actually needed. Zoey 101 ended in 2008—most kids watching streaming content today weren't even born yet. The abysmal ratings (4.9 on IMDb, 2/5 on Letterboxd) tell you everything: even nostalgic millennials who grew up with the show couldn't find much to love here.
From a WISE perspective, it's safe and mildly wholesome, but creatively dead on arrival and offering virtually nothing enriching. Your kid will spend the runtime asking who these people are and why you're making them watch this. Unless your family has a very specific Zoey 101 obsession, skip this one entirely.
The only scenario where this makes sense: your tween binged the original series and is desperate for closure. Even then, manage expectations—this is a reunion special masquerading as a movie, and the reviews suggest it delivers neither nostalgia nor entertainment particularly well.
