Let's be real: Wonder Woman (1975) is a cultural landmark and Lynda Carter is iconic, but this show is HARD to watch in 2025.
The pacing is brutally slow, the acting is stagey, and the production looks like it was filmed in someone's backyard with a $12 budget. Kids raised on Marvel movies and high-octane animation will tap out within 10 minutes. Even the fight scenes—where Diana gracefully deflects bullets with her bracelets—feel more like ballet than action.
That said, if you're doing a media history lesson or your kid is genuinely into vintage aesthetics, there's value here. Wonder Woman herself is a legitimately positive role model who chooses diplomacy over violence whenever possible. The show is utterly safe, with zero content concerns.
But as entertainment for modern kids? It's a tough sell. The WISE components are decent, but the watchability penalty is massive. Save this for a rainy day curiosity watch, not your regular rotation.
