Look, Tulsa King is actually pretty good television—if you're an adult who enjoys crime dramas. Stallone's surprisingly great in it, the writing is solid, and the Tulsa setting adds freshness to the mob genre.
But let's be crystal clear: this is not family content, not teen content, not even "mature 15-year-old" content despite what CSM says. This is a show about organized crime, with all the violence, language, and adult themes that entails.
If you're a parent looking for something to watch after the kids are in bed? Sure, it's entertaining. But it scores low on WISE because it's fundamentally about criminal behavior, features significant violence, and offers limited enrichment beyond quality entertainment. It's a guilty pleasure for adults, not a family recommendation.
