The Division 2 is a well-made tactical shooter with satisfying RPG mechanics and gorgeous post-apocalyptic environments. For adults who enjoy looter-shooters and tactical combat, it delivers.
But let's be clear: this is not remotely appropriate for kids or young teens. The violence is graphic and constant, the language is rough, and the themes are dark. The ESRB slapped an M rating on it for good reason—blood splatter, close-range executions, drug lab environments, and pervasive profanity.
If you're an adult gamer looking for a meaty co-op experience, go for it. If your teen is asking for it, the answer should be a hard no until they're genuinely old enough to handle mature content. This isn't a borderline case—it's clearly adults-only territory.
