The third Star Wars Jedi game is confirmed as Cal Kestis's last, with nothing shown yet
EA confirmed the game at its Investor Day on September 17, 2024, when Laura Miele, president of EA Entertainment and Technology, said: "Respawn is working hard to bring the final chapter of this thrilling story to players." Cal Kestis actor Cameron Monaghan had already said at a fan convention in September 2023 that the team was working on a third game. As of October 2026 there is still no title, trailer, platform list, release date or rating.
One change from the first two games: Stig Asmussen, who directed both, left Respawn in September 2023, so a new director is running the finale.
What the trilogy so far tells you
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (2019) and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (2023) are single-player third-person action games about Cal, a young Jedi who survived Order 66 and is hiding from the Empire. Both are rated T for Teen for violence and mild language: lightsaber combat that slices droids, creatures and stormtroopers, with no blood but some impalements in Survivor. Both are demanding: combat rewards timing and patience, and the exploration involves wall-running, climbing and puzzles. Neither has online play or microtransactions.
What to do while you wait
If your kid is excited about the finale and hasn't played the series, Fallen Order is the place to start, and its lowest difficulty setting makes the combat far more forgiving. Survivor picks up five years later and assumes you know the story.
