MindShift is a legitimately helpful CBT app for teens and adults managing anxiety. It's free, ad-free, and built on solid therapeutic principles—daily check-ins, fear ladders, guided meditations, and cognitive reframing exercises that actually teach useful skills.
The big caveat: it's shutting down March 31, 2025. All user data gets deleted, so don't get too attached. The Community Forum is a nice idea for peer support, but without clear moderation details, it's a bit of a wild card for vulnerable users.
This isn't a preventative tool or something to hand a 10-year-old. It's for people actively working on anxiety management who want structured, evidence-based support. If that's your teen (or you), it's worth downloading before it disappears—just know you'll need to find an alternative soon.
