Lensa is basically a vanity project powered by a black-box AI. While the tech is impressive and the avatars are fun for a one-time ego boost, it’s a minefield for younger kids.
Between the body dysmorphia triggers of the 'skin refining' tools and the very real chance of the AI returning NSFW results, this isn't an 'all-ages' creativity app. If your teen uses it, keep the conversation focused on the fact that AI is a math equation, not a reflection of reality. For everyone else, stick to basic filters that don't require a facial data waiver.
