LEGO DC Super-Villains is exactly what you'd expect: a solid LEGO game with a fun twist. Letting kids play as the bad guys sounds edgier than it actually is—this is still LEGO, so 'villainy' means goofy schemes, slapstick humor, and smashing things into colorful bricks.
The character creator is legitimately great and gives kids real creative control. Co-op mode is smooth and encourages teamwork, not competition. The villain perspective is handled with enough humor that it's more 'mischievous' than concerning—think Gru from Despicable Me, not Joker from The Dark Knight.
It's not going to change your kid's life, but it's quality entertainment that respects their intelligence, lets them problem-solve, and doesn't nickel-and-dime you with in-app purchases. If your kid likes LEGO games or DC characters, this is a safe bet.
