This is a solid interactive special for kids who are already invested in Camp Cretaceous and want more dinosaur survival action. The choose-your-own-adventure format is genuinely fun and adds replay value, which is a nice touch.
That said, it's not breaking new ground—it's more of the same dino-peril with branching paths. The constant danger can feel exhausting, and there's not much emotional depth or character development beyond 'don't die.' Common Sense Media's 13+ rating is fair; younger kids might find it too intense.
If your kid is in that sweet spot of 10-13, loves dinosaurs, and enjoyed the series, this is a fun 45-minute diversion. Just don't expect it to be enriching or particularly wholesome—it's action-packed entertainment with decent problem-solving elements. Worth a watch for fans, skippable for everyone else.
