Ice Princess is the definition of 'fine.' It's wholesome, it's safe, it won't rot anyone's brain, and it has decent messages about following your dreams and being smart. The STEM-meets-sports angle is a nice touch in theory.

But let's be real: this is a 2005 Disney Channel-style movie that feels every bit of its 20 years. The critical scores (52% on RT) tell the story—it's forgettable. Kids who are really into figure skating might get something out of it, and it's a perfectly acceptable rainy afternoon watch for the 7-10 crowd.
