Casino Royale is genuinely excellent—a smart, stylish reboot that took a tired franchise and made it matter again. Daniel Craig brings real emotional weight to Bond, the action is inventive, and the story has actual stakes.
But let's be clear: this is not for kids or young teens. The torture scene alone disqualifies it for anyone under 14, and even then, some 14-year-olds aren't ready for that level of graphic violence. It's brutal, disturbing, and lingers.
For older teens (15-16+) who can handle intense content, this is a masterclass in action filmmaking. For adults, it's one of the best Bond films ever made. Just make sure younger siblings aren't in the room.
