This isn't just a cheap tie-in for the show. It’s a legit, well-crafted graphic novel that treats its audience with respect.
It handles themes of isolation and identity in a way that’s accessible for kids but interesting enough for the adults who grew up with the series. If your kid is an Avatar fan, this is a no-brainer. It’s clean, it’s smart, and it actually has something to say about character.
