Look, Young & Hungry is the kind of show that exists purely to fill a Netflix queue when you've run out of everything else. It's a 2010s Freeform sitcom that follows every predictable beat: poor girl meets rich guy, awkward situations ensue, will-they-won't-they drags on for seasons.
The 48 Metacritic score tells you what critics thought (not much), while the 7.3 IMDb suggests fans found it passable background noise. It's not offensively bad, but it's aggressively mediocre—the kind of show that teaches nothing, inspires nothing, and will be forgotten the moment the credits roll.
If your 14-year-old wants to watch it, fine—it won't rot their brain. But there are dozens of better teen comedies that are actually funny, actually smart, and don't feel like they were assembled from a sitcom kit. This is a C- show that deserves a C- score.
