Walkie Talkie is basically Clubhouse with a more casual, 'utility' aesthetic. It’s a great idea for adults who want to practice a language or geek out over a niche TV show, but it’s a safety minefield for kids.
Because the core mechanic is live voice interaction with strangers, you are essentially letting your kid walk into a crowded room of adults with their eyes closed. Even if the 'vibe' is curated, the risk of hearing something inappropriate is baked into the format. If your teen is dead-set on using it, do it with them first to see what the current room quality looks like.
