Vivy is what happens when you take the 'AI uprising' trope and actually give it some emotional stakes. It’s gorgeous, heartbreaking, and incredibly smart. If your kid is into sci-fi like Interstellar or Blade Runner, this is going to be their new favorite thing.
Just be ready for the 'violence'—it's mostly robots being torn apart, but the show goes out of its way to make those robots feel human, so the impact is the same. It’s a high-quality production that respects the viewer’s intelligence and doesn't rely on typical anime tropes to get by.
