TrevorSpace is a bit of a relic, but a vital one. It’s not flashy, and it’s certainly not high-tech, but for a kid in a crisis of identity, it can be a literal lifeline.
That said, don't let the 'non-profit' halo blind you to the safety risks. The privacy practices are underwhelming for 2026, and the age-verification is basically an honor system. It’s a great 'starter' social network for LGBTQ+ youth, provided you’ve had the talk about data privacy and the 'stranger danger' that exists even in safe spaces.
