It’s messy, it’s political, and the art is a far cry from the gorgeous panels we see in later Tintin adventures. If your kid is obsessed with Tintin, they'll want to see where it started, but don't expect them to finish it. For everyone else, start with 'The Blue Lotus' or 'Cigars of the Pharaoh' and leave this one in the archives.
