Set against the bleak backdrop of 14th-century England, The Uprising looks to deliver a gritty, violent tale of class revolt, disease, and survival. Following a peasant who unites commoners against the King's forces, the premise leans heavily into the dark reality of feudal life rather than Hollywood chivalry.
