Look, this is just not a good movie. The 26% critic score tells you everything you need to know—it's a lazy, unfunny rom-com that wastes a decent cast on a tired premise.
Beyond being poorly executed, it's also not great messaging for teens. The whole 'let's get elaborate revenge on the cheating guy' plot might seem empowering on the surface, but it's really just modeling toxic behavior. Healthy relationship skills would involve recognizing red flags, leaving, processing emotions, and moving forward—not teaming up to systematically destroy someone's life for laughs.
The sexual content and mature themes mean this is firmly in the 16+ territory, but honestly, even older teens deserve better entertainment. There are so many superior movies about female friendship, relationship challenges, and personal growth. This ain't it.
If your teen really wants to watch it, fine—it won't traumatize anyone. But don't expect it to spark meaningful conversations beyond 'wow, that was dumb.' Save your 109 minutes for literally anything else.
