This is legitimately good television that happens to star Muppets. The Electric Mayhem finally getting their own show is long overdue, and the creative team nailed it.
The premise—aging rockers meet modern music industry—could have been cringey, but instead it's charming and funny with real heart. The show respects both the classic Muppets vibe and contemporary storytelling. Strong ratings across the board (95% audience score!) back this up.
Younger kids will enjoy the music, silliness, and colorful characters. Older kids and adults will appreciate the sharper humor, music industry satire, and genuine character development. It's rare to find family content that truly works for everyone without talking down to anyone.
The only downside? Disney only made one season. But those 10 episodes are solid gold.
