This is the 'gateway drug' to reading. If you have a kid who would rather play Fortnite than open a book, this is your best shot at changing their mind.

It takes the 2005 classic and trims the fat, delivering the story in a high-energy visual format that doesn't feel like 'homework.' It's smart, it's funny, and it treats kids like they're capable of handling a bit of danger and complex family dynamics.

Even if they've seen the show or the (regrettable) movies, the graphic novel stands on its own as a great piece of storytelling.

Perfect for ages 8 to 12. It’s the sweet spot for kids who are ready for some action but still want a relatable hero who misses his mom.
