Lady and the Tramp is a beautiful relic. It’s slow-paced by 2026 standards, but if your kid loves dogs, they’ll likely be mesmerized by the character acting. It's essentially a 'vibe' movie—all moonlit alleys and Victorian cozy vibes.
However, you can't ignore the 1950s baggage. The Siamese cats are a cringeworthy racist caricature that Disney+ now (correctly) flags with a content warning. Use it as a thirty-second teaching moment about how movies used to be made and then get back to the meatballs. It’s a solid 'Sunday afternoon' watch, but don't expect it to compete with the high-octane energy of modern animation.
