Look, this is one of those Disney sequels that exists purely because the original made money. The ratings tell the story: 19% from critics, 30% from audiences, 5.3 on IMDb. That's universally panned territory.
Is it safe? Absolutely. Will it traumatize anyone? Nope. But will your kid actually enjoy it? Probably not. Even preschoolers deserve better than a lazy retread that recycles the original's songs and plot without adding anything meaningful.
If your kid is obsessed with the original Jungle Book, they might tolerate this for 20 minutes before asking to watch something else. Otherwise, there are dozens of better Disney options on the same platform that are actually, you know, good.
The WISE score reflects reality: it's technically fine for kids, but it's also genuinely not worth your time when there are so many better options available.
