The Hills is a fascinating relic of the 2000s, but it hasn't aged particularly well. Between the 3.8 IMDb rating and the glacial pacing, most modern teens will find it more 'cringe' than compelling.
It’s basically a high-fashion soap opera where the stakes are exclusively who gets to sit at which table at Les Deux. If your kid is obsessed with Y2K fashion or wants to see the origin story of the 'influencer' lifestyle, it’s worth a few episodes. Otherwise, it’s a lot of staring into space while Natasha Bedingfield plays in the background.
