Look, it’s from 2003, so it’s definitely showing its age. Some of the rules feel like they belong in a black-and-white movie, but the reality is that kids today are often missing these basic social cues.
It’s not 'fun' reading, and no kid is going to choose this over a graphic novel, but as a manual for raising a kid who isn't a total jerk in public, it’s surprisingly effective. Think of it as a cheat code for social success rather than a list of chores.
