If your kid sees Tom Holland on the thumbnail and thinks they’re getting Spider-Man vibes, they are in for a rude awakening. This show is a dark, sprawling exploration of trauma and dissociative identity disorder. It’s well-made, but it’s a 'mood' show—slow, depressing, and occasionally very graphic.
It’s a solid pick for a solo binge or a partner watch once the house is quiet, but it’s firmly in the 'after bedtime' category. The critics hated the pacing, but audiences loved the emotional payoff. Just be prepared to feel like you need a shower or a hug after most episodes.
