The Blue Lotus is the 'Empire Strikes Back' of the Tintin series. It’s where the stories stopped being silly travelogues and started having real weight.

Yes, it’s old. Yes, you’ll see some 1930s-era drawings of Japanese people that look pretty cringey today. But compared to the brain rot on TikTok, this is high-protein content. It’s an adventure that actually makes kids smarter about history and geography while keeping them hooked on the 'what happens next?' factor.

If your kid is a reader, this is a must-own. If they aren't a reader yet, the 'clear line' art style is the perfect gateway drug to get them into graphic novels.
