The Accountant² is a perfectly serviceable action-thriller for adults who want to watch Ben Affleck solve puzzles and shoot people. It's not breaking new ground, and the mixed critical scores tell the story: it's fine, competent, watchable... but probably not memorable.
The neurodivergent protagonist angle remains interesting, though the franchise continues to treat autism more as a superpower than a nuanced portrayal. If you liked the first film, you'll probably like this. If you didn't, nothing here will change your mind.
For families? Hard pass. This is violent, morally murky, and absolutely not appropriate for anyone under 17. Even for adults, it's a 'wait for streaming' situation unless you're a die-hard fan of the genre or the first film.
