This is one of the most inventive mysteries of the last decade. It’s essentially a 500-page logic puzzle that respects the reader's intelligence and doesn't hand-hold.
For a teen who loves Knives Out or escape rooms, this is a must-read. Just be aware that it’s gritty—Blackheath is a miserable place filled with miserable people, and the '7 1/2 deaths' aren't exactly peaceful.
