Super Meat Boy Forever is a polarizing sequel that swaps precision platforming for a two-button auto-runner format. It’s still incredibly hard, still drenched in blood, and still sports that signature 'Team Meat' attitude. It’s a great pick for a kid who loves a challenge and has a high tolerance for gross-out humor, but it’s definitely not for the faint of heart or the easily frustrated.
From a parent's perspective, the lack of in-game purchases and social features makes it a 'safe' choice for offline play, provided you're okay with the screen being permanently stained red. It’s a game about grit, pure and simple. If they can beat this, they can probably handle anything the middle school curriculum throws at them.
