Look, this is exactly what you'd expect from slapping 'Suicide Squad' and 'Isekai' together: chaotic, violent, and aimed squarely at older teens and adults who think that mashup sounds awesome. The premise is legitimately creative—there's something entertaining about watching Harley Quinn's brand of mayhem collide with orcs and dragons.
But let's be real: the mediocre ratings (6.2 IMDb, 3/5 Letterboxd) suggest this doesn't quite stick the landing. It's for a very specific audience—people who love both DC's darkest antiheroes AND anime fantasy tropes. If your teen fits that Venn diagram and is already consuming mature content, they might enjoy it. But it's not enriching, the characters are terrible role models, and the violence is graphic.
Bottom line: This is adult animation masquerading as a wild experiment. It's not going to win awards, but it might entertain the right viewer for a few episodes. Just make sure that viewer is actually 17+.
