Look, Snatch is a genuinely well-made movie. Ritchie's style is innovative, the plot is clever, and it's wildly entertaining if you're into British crime comedies. The 8.2 IMDb and 93% audience score tell you it's beloved for good reason.
But this is absolutely, unequivocally not for kids. The violence is graphic (bare-knuckle boxing gets bloody), the language is constant and creative, and everyone on screen is a criminal using slurs and making terrible decisions. Common Sense Media's 17+ rating is spot-on.
For adults or older teens who can handle R-rated content? It's a fun ride. For your 13-year-old who loved Marvel movies? Hard pass. Save this for when they're older and can appreciate that crime movies are entertainment, not instruction manuals.
