This is Aardman doing what they do well: charming, wordless, stop-motion slapstick that's safe for the youngest viewers and pleasant enough for parents. Shaun gets himself into llama-related trouble, chaos ensues, and everyone works together to fix it.
That said, it's a 30-minute TV special from 2015, and it feels like it. The IMDb 6.7 and Letterboxd 3.3 tell the story: it's fine, it's harmless, it'll keep your preschooler entertained on a rainy afternoon, but it's not going to become anyone's favorite. The wordless format is either a feature or a bug depending on your kid—some find it hilarious, others zone out without dialogue.
Bottom line: if you've got a Shaun the Sheep fan or a kid who loves silly animal comedy, queue it up. But if you're looking for something with more substance or lasting appeal, keep scrolling.
