Sharkdog is exactly what it looks like: a goofy, safe, mildly entertaining show for little kids that parents can leave on without worry. It won't teach your kid much, but it won't rot their brain either.
The premise is cute enough—half shark, half dog, all chaos—and the 100% RT critic score suggests it's competently made. But that 6.1 IMDb rating tells the real story: it's fine. Just fine. Kids under 7 will giggle at the slapstick and the weird creature design. Parents will zone out and be grateful it's only 10 minutes long.
This is the definition of Netflix Kids filler content. Not bad, not great, just... there. If your preschooler is obsessed with sharks or dogs (or both, somehow), queue it up. Otherwise, there are richer options out there.
