Here's the challenge: I can't find much about this specific book—no author, no publisher, no detailed reviews beyond a 5-star Amazon rating. That makes it hard to confidently recommend.
What I can say is that 9/11 books for kids span a huge range. Some are gentle picture books for 6-year-olds about bravery and community; others are graphic novels for teens showing the towers falling and bodies jumping. Without knowing where this one lands, I'd approach with caution.
The topic itself is undeniably enriching—kids need to understand why 9/11 matters, why it shaped foreign policy, why Islamophobia surged, why we take our shoes off at airports. But it's also heavy, scary stuff that requires emotional readiness.
If you already own this book or are considering it, preview it first. Make sure the level of detail matches your child's maturity. And be ready for hard conversations about terrorism, war, and why bad things happen to innocent people.
