Look, the premise is solid gold for elementary schoolers: kids discover a superhero base and have to save the day. But with a 42% audience score and 5.3 on IMDb, this is firmly in 'forgettable streaming filler' territory.
It's safe, it's got positive friendship themes, and it won't traumatize anyone. But it's also derivative, predictable, and apparently poorly executed based on universal critical and audience shrugs. If your kid is deep in their superhero phase and has already burned through the MCU, Spider-Verse, and Incredibles films, sure, throw this on. But there are genuinely better family superhero movies that are both more entertaining AND more enriching.
The WISE score reflects reality: it's fine, it's safe, but it's aggressively mediocre. Your kid probably won't remember it a week later, which honestly might be the most damning thing you can say about a kids' adventure movie.
