Score! Hero is the soccer version of those 'connect the dots' puzzles, but with way more cheering fans. It’s a 2015 classic that still works because it doesn't try to be a full-blown simulation. You just draw a line, the ball follows, and you feel like a genius for five seconds.
It’s clean, it’s focused, and it won't expose your kid to the toxic wasteland of unmoderated voice chat. The only real downside is the difficulty curve. It eventually hits a wall where it feels like the game is cheating to make you lose. If your kid is prone to frustration, maybe keep an eye on how many times they 'miss' that game-winning header.
