Saving Winslow is a win. In a world of loud, over-stimulating media, this book is a quiet, necessary breath of fresh air.
It’s not 'brain rot' and it’s not trying to sell your kid a battle pass. It’s just a beautifully written story about a kid and a donkey. It’s short enough that even the most reluctant reader can finish it in a few sittings, which is a huge victory for parents of kids who usually prefer YouTube. If you want a book that builds character without being preachy, this is it.
Perfect for the 7-12 crowd. It’s sophisticated enough for a 5th grader to read alone but gentle enough to read to a 2nd grader who loves animals.
