Reflex Math does one thing exceptionally well: it turns the tedious grind of memorizing math facts into something kids will actually do without a fight. The carnival games are bright and motivating, the adaptive system is smart, and the progress tracking is parent-gold.
That said, this is a drill tool, not a magic curriculum. It won't teach your kid why multiplication works or how to solve word problems—it just makes them faster at recalling 7×8. For families struggling with flashcard battles or kids who freeze on timed tests, it's a genuinely helpful (and safe) investment. For kids who already have fluency or who learn better through conceptual play, you might find it repetitive.
The $35/year price is reasonable for one child but stings if you're subscribing for three. Still, if fact fluency is the bottleneck in your kid's math confidence, this is one of the better tools out there—and infinitely more pleasant than nightly flashcard meltdowns.
